Important Announcement Regarding the Future of Tenra AI Multichat
Hi everyone! I have some important, though unfortunate, news to share. I have to retire Tenra AI Multichat from the Steam store and, eventually, shut down its servers entirely. I want to be completely honest with you and explain the reasons behind this decision.
When I released this app, I lacked the experience of publishing such projects, and I made a critical planning mistake by choosing a one-time purchase model. The app relies heavily on servers and third-party APIs that require monthly payments. This has created a dead end: the more users buy the app and actively use the chat, the more I have to pay out of my own pocket to keep everything running. The current financial model is simply unsustainable for me as an indie developer.
It is impossible to fix this on the fly because the app's architecture is already outdated. I am currently developing a new, much better project from scratch with expanded functionality, taking all my past mistakes into account, but its release is still far away.
What happens next:
The "Buy" button on Steam will be disabled shortly so new users won't purchase a product that is shutting down.
I am currently contacting Steam Support. My goal is to request a mass refund for all buyers so that none of you are left with a broken app on your hands.
The servers are not shutting down today. The app is still working. As soon as Valve provides instructions on the retirement and refund process, I will announce the exact date of the final server shutdown.
