Major Update: The Big Epilogue Expansion is Live!

Hello everyone,

First and foremost, we want to start with a massive thank you to everyone who has played Bookbinding and taken the time to leave a review. We have been reading through all of your feedback, and we want to address the most common critique head-on: the abrupt ending.

Many of you felt that the game's conclusion was abrupt and rushed. We completely hear you, we agree, and we are sincerely sorry. We should have added in the epilogue before releasing, but we realized that we are running late... well a bit too late.

To make things right, our team has practically lived at our desks this past week. We've been working ourselves to the bone, running on a lot of coffee to squash annoying bugs and write, test, and implement a proper conclusion for the game.

What's in this Update?

We are thrilled to announce that today's update brings a comprehensive overhaul to the game's finale:

• 72 New Epilogues: We have added a massive batch of ending scenarios to make the ending feel better.

• Every Character Covered: These epilogues encompass all 14 characters in the game. (Note: Depending on your choices, some epilogues for a specific character will be minor variations of each other, reflecting the nuances of your playthrough!) We'll be coming back to the MC specific epilogues, but after we get a bit of rest.

• Major Bug Fixes: Alongside the new content, we’ve spent the week hunting down and patching out the most pressing bugs reported by the community for a smoother experience.

The Road Ahead: What's Coming Next?

While, we'll keep polishing and adding more content for epilogue of an MC later on, we are shifting our focus for other good stuff. Here is what we are currently working on:

• Additional Scenes to make the narrative feel even smoother.

• Steam Achievements.

• Localizations: Specifically - German, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish with Chinese, Polish and Russian later on the way.

• Steam Deck Optimization: While the game is currently perfectly playable on the Steam Deck, we know some parts could be smoother. We are working on native optimizations to ensure a flawless, fully-verified handheld experience.
