Many of you probably know that it's common for games to become more expensive after leaving Early Access and reaching version 1.0. When you buy an Early Access game, you're purchasing a product that's still in development, which is why it's offered at a lower price. That lower price is also a way of thanking everyone who chose to support the project during its early stages. Throughout Early Access, the game continues to grow with new content, mechanics, fixes, and improvements, becoming a more polished and complete experience. That's why, by the time version 1.0 launches, the price usually reflects all the work that's gone into the game over the years. Of course, we're not talking about abandoned games, games that were rushed into a 1.0 release without delivering on their promises, or games that launched into Early Access with an inflated price tag :) CONVRGENCE has come a long way and changed tremendously over more than two years in Early Access. Because of that, the game will become more expensive at full release. My original plan was to raise the price alongside the launch of version 1.0 this fall. However, for a number of reasons, that will happen a little earlier - after the current Steam sale ends, in August. So, if you've been thinking about picking up the game, or you've been waiting for the full release, please note that this sale will be your last chance to purchase CONVRGENCE at the current discounted price. The final base price after the increase will be $24.99. Thank you to everyone who supported CONVRGENCE during Early Access. Your support helped make the game what it is today, and now we're getting closer than ever to the full release!
