Hello P.A.W. Agents!

We're super excited to unveil the voice cast for Fright Train! They all nailed their roles, and we're super grateful to them for joining us on this adventure! Check out the teaser down below to get a glimpse at our characters and see who they're played by:

Next! We've been making good progress on the full game, and we wanted to share some cool progression mechanics that really enhance the gameplay.

But first, you gotta know that Fright Train's story is divided into runs, and each run consists of fighting your way through the entire L.R.S. Great White, a mysterious locomotive research station in Antarctica. This train is divided into 3 sections, each consisting of a couple of cars. In between each section, you'll get a chance to do 2 things:

Upgrade your weapons with the Bite-Back Machine!

There are 4 weapon tiers, and the last achievable tier gives the weapon a wild new ability that's extremely powerful. While you'll mostly find lower-tier weapons throughout the train, you can upgrade them (for a price) at Bite-Back machines, which are located at the end of each train section!

We have also added a universal storage locker in each car, so you'll be able to store weapons you want to upgrade later or extra items!

Purchase upgrades to spice up your run!

Next to each Bite-Back machine, you'll find a unique locker with 3 random upgrades to choose from. To unlock it, you'll need to keep an eye out for a code that will appear painted somewhere within the train section. You can only purchase one upgrade per section, so choose wisely: They can completely change how you'll approach the rest of your run!

We're having lots of fun making this game, and we want to thank everybody who shared their thoughts on the demo and helped us playtest. There's a lot more cool stuff left in store for when the full game releases this September, and we hope you're looking forward to it!

See you soon, and stay warm!
