Horizontal Next Queue

  • Added an opt-out Gameplay setting that moves the NEXT piece queue into a horizontal strip above the enemy panel, reclaiming space that used to sit empty there instead of the old vertical sidebar box.

  • Upcoming pieces now slide into place with a bit of overshoot instead of just popping into position.

  • The NEXT and HOLD boxes' labels now visually cut through their border like a proper section divider instead of floating above it.

  • Added a piece-drop statistics panel to take the space of the original next queue.

Controls

  • Added a "Rotate 180°" action to Options → Controls (unbound by default — assign a key or button if you want it).

  • Soft drop now has real, consistent repeat behavior on both keyboard and controller — keyboard previously relied on raw OS key-repeat and could feel inconsistent. Speed is tunable via a new Soft-Drop Repeat slider.

Quality of Life

  • Options menu: every tab now has a clear section header, and all tabs (not just Controls) scroll to keep the keyboard/controller-focused item visible instead of letting it scroll off-screen.

  • Unified the "open your gem bag" button across the Map, Gem Vendor, and gem reward screens — all green with a backpack icon, icon-only, and square (largest on the gem reward screen, where it's the primary action).

  • The gem bag's hover tooltip and the equipped-slot "vanishing lines" animation are now consistent across all three bag screens instead of only the Map screen.

Fixes

  • Fixed the Abundance meta-progression upgrade not actually offering a 4th gem choice on the gem reward screen (relic rewards were unaffected).

  • Fixed the pause menu being clickable through — actions behind it, like picking a relic or gem reward, could still be triggered while the game was paused.

  • Fixed the Underdog relic ("clearing lines with S or Z pieces deals double damage") triggering whenever an S or Z block was anywhere in a cleared line, instead of only when an S or Z piece was the one that completed the clear.

  • Fixed relic/gem card descriptions occasionally clipping past their card's border during the controller-focus highlight animation.

  • Fixed the Turkish pause-menu title clipping outside the menu frame at large accessibility font sizes.

  • Fixed the Arika SRS "What is this?" link overlapping its checkbox label at large font sizes in some languages.
