After all of the shady deals, illegal trade, and the not-so-pleasant underbelly, the city turns its lights back on, shifting focus back to to it's beauty.
With summer approaching and tourism forecasts finally turning upward once more, corporate executives are eager to reclaim the spotlight. The result is the return of the Festival of Neon, a city-wide festival designed to refocus attention upward, away from the places the city prefers not to acknowledge.
Downtown districts are transformed into entertainment and shopping hubs, flooded with bright and creative signage, animated billboards, and bold displays of color that stretch across the skyline. Neon parades wind through the city center, their floats sponsored by the biggest names in tech, fashion, and media - each brighter, louder, and more expressive than the previous festival.
It’s a celebration of identity, expression, and spectacle. A reminder of what the city wants to be seen as.
In this challenge, bring the Festival of Neon back to life. Fill your city with vibrant lighting, glowing streets, and towering displays that turn the night into a sea of color. Let your city's color shine, even if it’s meant to distract from what still thrives in the dark.
