Hi everyone!
It’s been a while, but we’re finally ready to share a big new update for the Must Be Feng Shui Playtest!
A lot has changed since the last version. Honestly, probably too much to fit into one reasonable changelog. 😅
Here are some of the biggest additions:
The world is no longer empty!
Characters and dialogues have been added to the game, giving the levels much more personality and context. Some characters even have their own preferences and requirements when it comes to certain pieces of furniture, adding another layer to the puzzles.
The old map has been replaced with a brand new one, built from the ground up to better represent the world of Must Be Feng Shui. (Did I mention that our character can now ride a skateboard?)
This is probably the biggest addition.
You can now create your own apartments, furnish them however you want, and see if your creations follow the rules of Feng Shui!
This mode is still very early and we have a lot of ideas for improving it, so we’re especially curious to hear what you think.
We’ve been working on a lot of new levels and scenarios. Only some of them are available in the Playtest for now, but there is much more being built behind the scenes.
We’ve also added tons of new furniture and decorations, giving you many more options when solving levels and designing your own spaces.
Quality-of-life improvements, new visuals, UI changes, puzzle improvements, bug fixes, balancing, polish... basically improvements across almost every part of the game.
There’s honestly too much to list everything here.
Alongside this update, we’re also going to give access to more people who previously requested to join the Playtest, and we’re opening Playtest sign-ups again for new players.
If you’ve been waiting for access, thank you for your patience. ❤️
Please keep in mind that all of this is still very much work in progress. The new levels, characters, Sandbox Mode and many other systems are still being improved and expanded.
That’s exactly why your feedback matters so much right now.
Thank you to everyone who has played, reported bugs, filled out our surveys, shared suggestions, or simply waited patiently for the next update.
We know development has taken a long time, and we know some of you have been waiting for Must Be Feng Shui for quite a while.
We don’t want to rush it.
We want to make a game that feels polished, relaxing and genuinely worth the wait. A game that you’ll hopefully love spending time with.
And while there is still work left to do, the official demo and the full release are getting closer and closer. We’re really excited to finally be reaching that point.
Thank you for helping us make it better. ❤️
See you in the Playtest!
