Slowdown in Development

Hello everyone,

It is with regret that I announce a major slowdown in the development of the game...

I am not saying that development is coming to an end, far from it, but for several reasons, development will have to be slowed down.

First of all, Portal BAGLEY needs to take a back seat in my life. I’ve spent all this year working on the game, despite ups and downs due to personal issues. I haven’t made as much progress as I originally wanted, but I’m still happy. because it allowed me to grow personally, and the development has still made good progress.

Then, the game became too big and greedy, hence my insistent requests for the source code of Portal 2 since 2023. Unfortunately, Valve is not very cooperative with the Portal 2 code. The problem is that from now on, the code becomes essential in the development... As long as I can’t get the game liscenced or find another solution, I won’t be able to continue some aspects of development, I’m trying to contact several people to find solutions, but all this will be complex...

Here are the two main reasons for the slowdown in development. I am optimistic that the game will see the light of day, the question now is when? Unfortunately, some things don’t depend on me...

I’m sorry for those who have been waiting for the game for a while, believe me, I am the most disappointed among us.

Hoping to see you again with good news,

Adrien Vasseur - MrBlume
