Gamepan 1.1.17

A big performance upgrade for large, high-resolution maps, along with a new Skill Tree display option.

Improved

  • Large map images are now far smoother. The Map module was rewritten to draw only the part of the map you're actually looking at, so zooming and panning stay fast no matter how big the image is, even with multi-hundred-megabyte maps. Nothing is downscaled, so your maps keep their full resolution and look crisp, with sharper detail than before when you zoom in.

  • Switching between several large maps in one module is now instant. A map you've already opened reappears right away while its full-resolution detail loads quietly in the background.

  • A loading spinner now shows while a large map is still decoding, so you can tell it's working.

  • Added a new setting to the Skill Tree module that lets you toggle off-screen node indicators on or off. The option can be accessed through the module's settings cog.

Notes

  • This update changes how maps are drawn, not how they're stored. Your existing maps, pins, and icons are untouched and load exactly as before.

  • The new Skill Tree setting only changes the visibility of off-screen node indicators and does not affect the skill tree itself.
