Celebrate Halloween in Tirich

We are happy to announce that Ecstatica will be releasing on October 26th, alongisde its sequel - Ecstatica II. Just before Halloween - the right time to return to a village where everything wants you dead, often in gruesome ways.

This is a perfect opportunity to experience this cult survival-horror once again - or for the first time. The re-release makes sure the game runs smoothly on modern systems, and adds several improvements, including full controller support.

Three graphic modes - from DOS to 4K

Ecstatica's ellipsoid engine was unlike anything else in 1994, and we wanted to preserve different versions of it. The software renderer now handles modern widescreen resolutions - including 4K and beyond! - and you can switch between three graphic modes at any time, so you can play the game the way you prefer:

  • Classic DOS - original 320x200

  • Classic Windows - based on 1997 re-release with 640x480

  • Software - modern, widescreen resolutions

Today we also announced Theocracy - a unique RTS from 2000 with elements of city building and grand strategy. Lead and unite the Aztec tribes, and survive the incoming Spanish invasion.

Theocracy joins other upcoming classics that we are bringing back Q4 this year. Stay tuned for more info!
