A Big Thank You!
A big thank you for your support during June Next Fest! What an incredible experience for us! Not only for the Wishlists & Demo Plays, but also for the great feedback we received!
Here are some improvements we made, based on your feedback:
Faster Run & Jump, QoL, and Build Shortcuts
- Toggle between Destruct Mode and Build Mode directly by pressing a shortcut key
- Build Menu now properly scales for screens with larger or ultra-wide resolutions.
- Build Menu has been made larger to make it easy to see the smaller details.
- Character Sprint Speed has been significantly increased
- Jumping no longer slows the character down
- You can now jump and change directions midair while sprinting (Parkour enthusiasts rejoice!)
Did you know you can build yourself a fun parkour in Cozy Builder? Unleash your creativity! Use the ladders, steps, floors, and random objects to create your Parkour!
Other Changes:
- Some more building supplies can now be found near the damaged homes.
- Another water gathering node is now available near the river banks. Check the river docks!
- Fixed a bug with the Kitchen where Gouda Cheese was not appearing properly in the recipes.
- Fixed an issue that was causing the depth of field option to not save.
- Added a note in the settings window in the world to inform the player that frame rate capping and VSYNC options are available in the home screen. In affect before the world loads.
- Made some optimizations to the Build Menu to improve performance.
We are still working on more changes and improvements to the demo. Stay tuned!

What's Next!
We are working full throttle on the main release. Here are some of the things we are working on:
Bed, Bath and you better believe it!
We are going to be adding several new items for decoration and treasure collection. Garden gnome collection, curtains, more bedroom furniture, more living room furniture, new beds, more Kitchen decorations, bathtubs, bathroom furniture and decor etc.
Blueprint system
Blueprints are premade 3D puzzles for you to complete in the game. These are designs of classic homes of the mid-century vine country era. You can complete these designs (and live within) in the game! You can dismantle and rebuild them with whenever you wish! Note: Blueprint system is not currently available in the demo, but will be for sure in the release.
Performance Tweaks & More Graphic options
Performance optimization is a process that we have to keep an eye on perpetually. We want to let you build with a lot of freedom and potential to place thousands of items.
