Detective VR Is Out Now!

The wait is over and Detective VR has officially launched on Steam! Here's what you're stepping into.

A Mystery Worth Paying Attention To

Six suspects. One truth. And nothing is highlighted for you.

At Studio Chipo y Juan & Valem Studio, we built Detective VR around a simple idea: we wanted you to feel like you actually solved the case, not just had the interface hand you the answer. A clue isn’t always something glowing on screen. It might be a contradiction between two stories, a nervous glance between suspects when they think no one is looking, or something happening quietly in the background while everyone is focused elsewhere.

Interview suspects. Examine evidence. Compare conflicting stories. And when something doesn't add up, use Time Control to freeze the scene, move around it, and watch it again from a different angle.

Time isn't just a rewind button here. It's another way of looking at the evidence.

The People Are Part of the Case

All six suspects were brought to life through full motion capture, with performances built for natural hesitation, interruptions, and body language, because in Detective VR, the people are evidence too. A look away, a tightened jaw, a glance exchanged mid-sentence can say as much as the testimony itself.

One Piece of Advice Before You Start

Don't rush to accuse anyone. Listen carefully. Compare the evidence. Revisit the timeline. Rewind whenever a sentence, gesture, or object doesn't quite fit.

And most importantly, trust the evidence more than confidence. The suspect who sounds most certain isn't always the one telling the truth.

What's Included

  • ~5 hours of story-driven investigation

  • One mystery across 11 sequences

  • 6 fully motion-captured characters

  • Time Control: rewind, pause, and replay scenes to catch what you missed

  • A physical investigation board for connecting testimony and evidence

Thank You

Detective VR started life on Meta Quest, and the support from that community gave us the confidence to bring the investigation to Steam. Thank you to everyone who's followed along, wishlisted, and shared the game with friends. We hope you enjoy solving the case as much as we enjoyed building it.

Grab the game now and let us know who you think did it. 👇
