We completed the first round of playtesting and have a range new updates for MAUS TRAP.
Here are a few of the main changes based on the feedback we received.
Mice will now try to escape the area after their nest is destroyed, making hunting them down feel more lively, and tapering the end-game phase of each story level.
Improved the training level with new art, new mechanics, bugfixes, and incorporated it into the Story Mode progression.
Added highlights to multiple items, making it much easier to see when you can interact with said items.
Improved the pause menu to show some level relevant art and a description of the current level, this should help players who get lost or forget the story / objective.
