Hey everyone! In WheelMates, you can drive straight to the next location: nothing forces you to stop and examine every object. But if you slow down and look around, the house begins to tell a much bigger story. You may already know Professor Everett Bloom as the mysterious scientist who created the RC cars and sent the call for help. But that is only the beginning of the story.

  • Who else lived in this house?

  • Why is it empty now?

  • What are the strange green chemicals found throughout it?

The answers to these and many more questions are scattered throughout the house in small fragments. The Journal brings those fragments together in one place, helping you connect past and present events. Each room has a story of its own and each type of narrative element reveals a different part of it: nodes with professor voice, scannable objects with personal notes, memory cards with audio logs.

Nodes

Nodes are your direct line to Professor Bloom. Through nodes he guides you through the house, explains what happened recently and sometimes reminisces about days long gone.

Scannable Objects

Scannable objects reveal sides of Professor Bloom that he would probably never share himself. Some contain messages written by Everett: “P.S. Snowball if you are reading this... come back. A house without your critique is an empty void. … I become "insufferably destructive" when you aren't there to hiss at my instruments. “ Others contain notes written to him: “Everett! Pay this today or they’ll take the tank back. And stop wasting money on Hyper-Priority just because you’re too impatient to wait!“You can also learn how some of the RC car upgrades were developed, including the magnetic wheels and how Snowball may have contributed to the experiments.

Memory Cards

Memory Cards contain more personal details: long discussions and arguments that once took place inside the house and may have contributed to what we find there now. “Everett, seriously? A kitchen fridge for toxic BH-19? You ran pipes right under the island. It’s way past any safety limits. “How deeply you explore the story in WheelMates is up to you. You can uncover it piece by piece as you drive through the house, return to the Journal later to connect the clues, or simply keep driving, solving puzzles, and enjoying the co-op adventure with a friend. But for those who decide to look closer, the empty house has a lot to say.Firevolt Team━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
