The big Hash & Chill update is here. Your room finally feels like yours, cats have moved in, and your rig has plenty of room to grow.
🐱 Cats
- Adopt up to 7 cats in 16 coats — from classic gingers and smoky grays to a CRT cat with scanlines, a golden maneki and a void cat with stars inside.
- Pick each cat's favorite spot: the windowsill, the desk, the floor or the new dresser.
- Pet a cat and it purrs — and sometimes blesses your farm with +10% mining.
- During focus sessions, desk cats nap right next to you.
🛋 Decor & Coziness
- The new Decor button opens a whole workshop for your room. Everything is bought with Quanta and costs very little.
- 15 wall colors, including neon Synthwave and Matrix, plus patterned wallpapers.
- 8 window views: rain, snow, aurora, meteor shower, a neon city and even coin rain.
- Garlands, a lava lamp and desk-lamp light in different colors.
- 20+ items to place around the room: a cactus, maneki-neko, an aquarium with fish, a vinyl player, a cat tree, HODL, gm and WAGMI neon signs.
- Swappable mugs (bubble tea, ramen, coffee to go), windowsill plants and wall posters.
- Monitor cases (beige retro, RGB, kawaii with cat ears, wood) and screen colors: green terminal, amber, white.
- Light show: a disco ball, LED strip and star projector pulse to the lo-fi beat.
- Everything you buy raises Coziness, and Coziness gives up to +25% Warmth per cycle.
🏠 Room Mode
One button hides the shop and leaves just your room. On the left there's a new dresser: put items on it and watch the cats stroll across.
⏱ Focus Timer
A built-in pomodoro: 25/5 or 50/10 minutes. Mining runs ×1.2 while you focus, and every finished session gives you Warmth. The timer also lives in the compact Mining mode, so you can work while the game quietly mines in the corner of your screen.
⚡ New Hardware
23 new upgrades for everyone who hit the ceiling long ago: orbital rigs, a moon farm, a black hole, the multiverse, a tokamak, a Dyson sphere, a hamster in a wheel, an underwater data center, a time crystal — and, of course, blue duct tape.
🪙 New Coin: $MEOW
The more cats you have, the more $MEOW is worth. It also comes with new contracts.
🏆 Achievements & Leaderboard
- Two new achievements: for 75 and 100 million mined.
- A new leaderboard built for truly huge numbers. Everyone starts fresh, so now is the perfect time to go for #1.
🍎 macOS Version
Hash & Chill now runs on Mac — both Apple Silicon and Intel.
🌍 11 New Languages
Dutch, Czech, Hungarian, Finnish, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Indonesian, Malay, Vietnamese and Thai. Together with the existing ones, the game is now available in 25 languages.
