Hello everyone, I am happy to share with you the content of the new update 2.1.0 for Poly Plaza ULTIMATE!
Local co-op
- Two players on one screen in split-screen, in solo worlds and in online co-op sessions.
- Player two plays on a gamepad while player one keeps mouse and keyboard.
- Player two has their own save: their own money, level, stats, inventory and clothes. Houses, vehicles and resources go into player one's town.
- Player two can pick an existing save or create a new character, from the main menu or the pause menu, and their progress is written every time the game saves.
- New Local Co-op screens in the main menu and the pause menu, with Remove Player Two and Leave Split Screen.
- Known issue: menu focus is still shared, so while one player has a full-screen menu open the other pad navigates that menu.
Controller
- Right-stick camera is much faster and no longer framerate dependent, and the sensitivity slider now goes up to 3 instead of 2.
- Fixed inverted up/down on the right stick. Invert Y still works as expected.
- Selling at the shop with a pad works: the Sell tab lands on the sell button and there is a proper route back to the quantity stepper.
- Menus no longer open with Back or Close selected, so your first A press does what you meant.
- Fixed navigation in the character and clothing store.
- Scrolling up through the craft list now keeps the whole recipe card in view.
- Search text in the inventory and shop shows up on gamepad instead of an empty box.
Fixes
- The car refuel menu no longer flickers or loses its text.
- Car colour swatches in the purchase menu no longer flicker or swallow clicks.
- "Locked" and "Unavailable" labels in the craft tab are readable instead of grey on grey.
- The Remove button in the co-op panel is no longer stretched across the whole card.
- Saving from the pause menu now shows the "Game saved" notification on top of the menu.
Cheers,
Victor.
