Development of “Kupala” has come to an end. The game is currently undergoing its final checks before the full release on September 4, 2026.

For all the wonderful people who purchased the game in Early Access, the final version is already available on Steam.

“Kupala” now feels like a complete and cohesive experience. The text of the opening chapters has been revised and partially rewritten, some illustrations have been updated, and the visual and sound effects have been improved. As before, all music used in the game is copyright-free.

Compared to the Early Access version, around an hour of new gameplay has been added — and even more if you decide to discover all five endings. A full playthrough of the story takes around two hours.

I wanted the village in “Kupala” to feel real. In many ways, I created it as I remember the village from my childhood: my grandmother’s old house, simple hearty food, and old spring beds. Maropa’s way of speaking is also largely inspired by my own grandmother. Perhaps that is why I was so particular about the illustrations. I hope that those who have experienced village life will recognize something familiar in these little details.

Your reviews and support have meant so much to me. Thank you to everyone who purchased the game, shared their impressions, or simply followed its development.

If you enjoyed “Kupala”, I would be very happy if you left a review. Your opinion means a lot to me.

Thank you for being with me on this journey. I hope “Kupala” will not be the last game I get to share with you.
