Hello, survivors! The temporary ranked mode “Gauntlet of the survivors” returns to Crossout. With its second iteration, the event had retained its key rules but had also introduced new parameters. We have tried to enhance both the competitive element and the influence of clans.
The mode will be available in August for three weeks, according to the following schedule, which takes the current player activity into account:
MONDAY, WEDNESDAY, FRIDAY:
00:00–04:00 GMT
16:00–20:00 GMT
SATURDAY AND SUNDAY:
12:00–18:00 GMT
20:00–02:00 GMT
“Clan war” and “Clan war: Leviathans” will be disabled during this period, and their ratings will be frozen.
One of the most important changes in the second iteration of the event is the addition of another leaderboard. Now there is a clan leaderboard and a personal one. Each of them influences the rewards you can get and has its own progression.
This leaderboard reflects the power of the players and determines the matchmaking. Your starting points are influenced by your rating in the previous iteration of the event. Your league determines how much uranium you get for winning battles and its maximum limit. The leaderboard is seasonal and lasts a week. After the season ends, your rating resets to the maximum of the previous league, and the maximum limit of the uranium ore updates.
Unlike the personal leaderboard, the clan leaderboard spans several weeks rather than just one. It is based on the points earned by clan members on their personal leaderboards over all previous weeks. At the end of the season, all clan members receive uranium based on the clan’s final ranking. The size of the reward depends on the player’s ranking in the personal leaderboard as well.
This system rewards the achievements of both individual players and the clan as a whole.
Due to the way the new system works, the rankings in the clan leaderboard will be updated once any clan member has finished their first battle.
To enter this mode, you still need to be a member of a clan or a band. You can play alone or in a group, but you are allowed to assemble a group only with the members of your own clan. This does not prevent you from having other players as allies; you simply cannot team up with them before the battle begins. Furthermore, you cannot face members of your own clan as opponents.
The number of categories has also remained the same: “Candidates”, “Hardened” and “Experts”. The main rules are the same as before, but we have lowered the PS threshold for each category to make the mode more beginner-friendly.
Gauntlet of the survivors: Candidates
League required to participate: Steel or Bronze;
Blueprints: from 9k to 11k PS;
Fight until you win 1 time.
Gauntlet of the survivors: Hardened
League required to participate: Silver, Gold or Elite;
Blueprints: from 9k to 15k PS;
Fight until you win 2 times.
Gauntlet of the survivors: Experts
League required to participate: Master or Legend;
Blueprints: from 9k with no upper limit;
Fight until you win 3 times.
As the reward is issued for winning a battle rather than for progressing through the leagues, we have adjusted the system for a player’s progression up the leaderboard. The win percentage requirements for players have now been increased and are now similar to those in “Clan wars”.
