What's next: upcoming patch, Workshop, custom decks and new characters

Thanks to everyone who played Meme Battle! We read every review and every suggestion. Here's what's almost ready and where we're heading next.

🔜 A patch is coming in the next few days

🏆 Winning meme. After the vote, every screen shows "Round winner" and the meme that took the round plays once more. The host can turn this on or off when creating a lobby.

👑 Winner's crown. The leader gets a crown in the round results and in the final scoreboard.

🎮 Controls hint. New players will see a short window on their first visit: how to pick cards, use push-to-talk and check the score.

☀️ Brightness. A new slider in the settings in case the room feels too dark.

🇷🇺 RU memes for everyone. Hosts from other countries can add Russian memes to the game with a single checkbox.

🛠️ Next up: the big update

🃏 Custom decks. You'll be able to build your own meme decks and save them for good. Ready-made decks are perfect for big matches and for the classic mode: build once, play whenever you like. The decks of everyone at the table will be merged into one.

🧰 Steam Workshop. We're diving into it. We want you to add your own memes and situations, build packs and share them. You'll be able to download packs right inside the game, and Workshop memes can go into your custom decks.

🎭 New characters. We're creating new heroes for the table. Each will have their own animations, emotions and voice: they'll cheer when they win, grab their heads and laugh at other players' memes.

🎨 Room makeover

We're also reworking the room itself: wooden panels and new interior details. The club will feel cozier and more atmospheric.
