2026.10.11.1 — New interface, Xbox and PlayStation controllers, beta fixes

This update changes the face of the game: the whole interface is new, designed for mouse, keyboard and controller at once. It also fixes the bugs you reported during the open beta in game, on the website and on Discord. Update required: the world checks the client version on connect.

A new interface, top to bottom

• New dark glass HUD: your frame with a health bar that shows the damage taken, experience in ten segments, the stamina bar under it (yellow at half, red when running out), your buffs in rows of six, the party, the target, the compass and the minimap.
• One menu (Tab or Esc) with every section: Character, Inventory, Skills, Talents, Quests, Friends and party, Guild, Pet, Journal, Map, Shop, Pass and Options.
• New NPC windows: dialogue with their quests and services, shop, vault, market, workbenches, player trade, loot and inspect.
• New login, registration, character select and creation screens, and loading screens with tips.
• Buttons beside the action bar: Options and Character on the left, Skills and Friends on the right. With points to spend the button turns gold and its «!» blinks; the Attributes row of the Character menu warns too.
• Action bar pages now go on Alt + 1, 2 or 3 (Shift is sprint and no longer flips the page by accident).
• Splitting a stack opens the quantity window. Dropping and every other confirmation takes one click; holding is only for the defeat screen and deleting a character.
• Revive: you will see «X is reviving you» with its bar, and when fully dead you are asked «X wants to revive you».
• With a window open the character no longer moves or acts underneath.

Full play with Xbox and PlayStation controllers

• The whole game can be played with a controller: two combat crosses (LT and RT) with the action bar's skills, enemy and ally cycling, action, mount, pings, quick wheels and the menu.
• PlayStation controllers (DualSense and DualShock 4) work directly, over USB or Bluetooth, with their own icons.
• A round cursor on R3, in the world too: the right stick moves it, A clicks, and it hides by itself after 10 seconds unused.
• The D-pad walks every slot of the vault, the bag, trade, the market, the workbenches and the shops.
• On-screen keyboard to type with the controller in the chat and in any text field.
• In Options › Controls › Device, «Controller» ignores the mouse that programs such as Steam emulate (no more ghost clicks on the ground with R2).
• The microphone chosen in Options is finally used, and when playing with a controller and none chosen, the controller's own microphone is used when Windows detects it.

Chat and notices

• New chat with channel tabs, bubble messages, item links, quick phrases and actions on each message (reply, whisper, invite, add friend).
• Enter opens the chat and Enter sends and closes it. Opening it no longer dims the bubbles over the characters.
• System notices («Inventory full», «The target is not in sight»…) are back in the left column.

Sprint

• Sprint is now sticky by default: press it once and you run until you stop. In Options you can switch back to «Hold the key», and the controller has its own option for L3.

Beta fixes

• Skills: Living Breath and Crystal Song no longer leave a blue zone that dropped the FPS; Living Breath and the role kits really improve with every rank; Flare is visible again.
• Combat: predicted skills no longer spend the cooldown doing nothing; melee reach is measured from the bodies (big mobs take the hits now); the fireball lands point-blank; roots really hold; the killing blow's credit goes to whoever lands it.
• Potions and food that heal over time always heal again; the account vault no longer loses coins and the guild vault respects each rank's permissions.
• Board quests: «The pack on the road» and the wolf and kobold errands count properly.
• Bodies last long enough to be looted and their loot shows at once; the boss worm no longer falls under the map.
• Levels update in the friends and guild lists; fish reach whoever swims at the surface; boss zones are no longer seen from the whole map.
• The skill book says why a skill is locked and choosing a role warns that your ranks go back to zero; forge essences do what they say.
• Sound: the Steam overlay no longer leaves the character running, Windows no longer treats the game as a voice call (YouTube and Twitch sound normal) and the loading music respects a zero volume.
• Options sliders follow the mouse too, and «My guild» at Samvara opens the new window.
