Move your armies freely across the Iberian Peninsula rather than along fixed paths. Terrain changes how a battle goes, and Army size changes how fast you get there.
A Peninsula that reacts to you
Population, religion and culture shift province by province based on what you actually do. Convert, urbanize or leave well enough alone, and watch the map answer.
An AI that fights back
Rival kingdoms form their own pacts, marry into each other's dynasties and take the openings you leave them. Diplomacy runs on diplomatic power, so every agreement costs you something.
AI is also an element that we'll continue to improve throughout the early access period.
Tutorial Ready
A short tutorial is now in the game. It was the single most common request from the demo, so we took an extra month to build it properly.
