Hello everyone, this is Zipi, the PD of QUIET.It has already been two days since the QUIET Playtest came to an end.Looking back on this playtest, time truly flew by, yet it felt so meaningful—we were blown away by how many of you came to try out the game.At first, we felt a mix of excitement and anxiety, constantly wondering, "Who will play our game?" and "How will they feel about it?" However, getting to meet diverse gamers from all across the globe allowed us to carry out the playtest each day with deep gratitude.I would like to take this opportunity through this Dev Letter to once again express my heartfelt appreciation to everyone who took part in our playtest.

💬 QUIET, Built by Your FeedbackThis playtest was a truly meaningful and precious time for our development team.Throughout development, we spent countless hours reflecting on one key question: "What specific elements will make players find QUIET fun?" During this test, the countless reports and candid, warm feedback you sent us provided a clear answer to that question.
Our team reviewed all of your input daily, making sure every note and suggestion was thoroughly considered. The valuable insights you shared will serve as our most precious asset as we build new stages and content moving forward. In particular, so many of you went out of your way to report bugs with attached videos and screenshots. As developers, we feel regretful that we couldn't fix all the issues you reported within the playtest period itself. Every piece of feedback you shared will serve as our most crucial reference point as we develop new stages and content. With your playtest feedback as our guide, we’re dedicated to bringing out the absolute best of what makes QUIET so unique and fun.🚀 Co-op Comedy Horror and Where We’re HeadedWhile going through the survey results, we noticed one fascinating takeaway: a large portion of our playtest participants have played R.E.P.O. and Lethal Company. And you'd be totally right! Our development team has also thoroughly enjoyed playing both games, drawing immense inspiration and creative energy from them.R.E.P.O. and Lethal Company are absolute landmarks in co-op comedy horror—they set the standard for how incredibly fun it is to get together with friends and share unforgettable, chaotic moments. Building upon the path paved by these incredible games, we believe there is room for an even richer variety of fun to offer our players. However, the game we want to build with QUIET isn't simply about mimicking that formula.
With our unique duck characters, the world of QUIET, and the chaotic, unpredictable terror that unfolds within it, we aim to craft a flavor of co-op comedy horror that is distinctly our own.For those who enjoyed playing R.E.P.O. and Lethal Company, we can’t wait for you to discover a totally new way to scream and laugh with your crew in QUIET.💛 Playtest Concluded, But Development Is Far From OverUltimately, QUIET is a game shaped by you—our players.
Even though this playtest has wrapped up, our dev team will still be right here on Discord and the Steam Community, listening to your stories and thoughts. Feel free to drop your ideas or feedback at any time!
We are currently preparing to meet you all again in the near future with a small demo. Please stay tuned! And finally, a small word of advice for everyone waiting for QUIET:"You don't need to be faster than Grandma. You just need to be faster than your friends."We highly recommend practicing a quick apology just in case you accidentally—or completely on purpose (?)—leave a teammate behind. Trust us, you’re going to need it. 🦆👵..... 🦆🦆🦆Save your vocal cords for the next time we meet, and don't forget to Wishlist QUIET on Steam!Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being a part of this.— On behalf of the QUIET Dev Team, PD Zipi
