Closer Than Allowed: After the Bell has left Early Access. Version 1.0 brings Emma, Noelle, Val, and Miki's stories through to their endings.
Thank you to everyone who played the first episode. If you already own the game, Episodes 2 and 3 are included in this update at no extra charge.
Play all three episodes, from the prologue through Week 10 and the route epilogues, with 16 endings in total.
Continue directly into Episode 2 after Episode 1. The old Early Access stopping point and coming-soon messages have been removed.
New choices and revised scenes give each relationship more room to develop. Later conversations better reflect the people you spent time with, the promises you made, and the boundaries you set.
Revisit unlocked CGs in the gallery and each character's profile. The complete game contains 40 collectible CGs, with collection progress and locked entries shown separately.
Track the endings you have completed in the ending collection.
Click while text is appearing to finish the current line. Adjust text size and dialogue-box readability in Settings.
Find the controls guide in Settings. Profile layouts and descriptions have been revised, and closing menus is more consistent.
Added expression changes and corrected characters lingering in scenes after leaving. Full-scene CGs now display more cleanly with backgrounds and character sprites.
Fixed dialogue overflow, image overlap after loading or changing scenes, and fullscreen settings becoming out of sync with F11.
Added Steam Cloud support and 20 Steam achievements. Individual ending achievements remain hidden until earned.
Updated story and interface text in English, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Russian, and Spanish.
Update the game, then use Continue or Load. Existing Early Access saves are migrated automatically, preserving recorded choices, affinity, and collection progress. A save inside a rewritten passage may resume at the beginning of that scene. You do not need to start a new game to access the later episodes.
