In this magnet fishing adventure, you step into the rubber boots of Tommy, a character driven by a mysterious lead pointing toward a legendary treasure hidden beneath the surface.
The Core Loop: Cast your magnet into various waters, pull up rusty scrap, and discover long-forgotten treasures.
Clean & Restore: Every piece of scrap you haul can be cleaned, so you can identify your finds and decide if you want to keep them.
Craft & Upgrade: Upgrade your gear, build a stronger magnet, and craft unique items that allow you to venture into deeper, more challenging areas.
While the game is a more chill, cozy incremental game, expect also some funny finds and side quests.

Up until now YoghurtDrop from gameandcode has been a solo developer, but for this project he catched some talented people to let this game shine as brightly as possible.
Once met at a game jam, bitowl is now part of Magnetic Catch and helps out whenever he can. If you find anything shiny in the game, transitions, outlines, or map reveals. That's him doing magic with shaders. He also did the heavy lifting, making the water look as good as it looks now.
The pixel art of Magnetic Catch is made by multiple artists so far:
Dinchen - Art direction. Creates items and other assets.
Mattz Pixel Art - Designed the initial characters.
Reith Ho - Brought the characters to life with character portraits. Also created many assets, including collections, environments, cats and dogs.
Dominic Lupas (Myriad Tales) - Additional environment designs, icons and general support.
Hellygar - Helped polish some of the environments.
And
Magnus Reichel - Music and sound design.
Last but not least, we would like to invite you to become part of the community. The game is meant to grow based on shared ideas and become the best version of itself through player feedback. Just stop by on our Discord
YoghurtDrop is still the only person working full time on this project, so things in the timeline may change, but we do our best to delivier with high quality and in time.
