BUILD. ROUTE. EXPAND.
Thank you to everyone playing Cargo Directorate and helping us with feedback!
Our aim is to expand the existing logistics-management game with new regions, transport options and strategic decisions. Its core stays the same: build your company, organize transports, manage your fleet and automate your logistics network. Cargo Directorate should remain a logistics tycoon – not a driving simulator or an open-world game.
Today's foundation includes 38 cities in ten countries, four vehicle classes, buying and leasing, drivers with traits, partial loads, return freight, empty repositioning and Connected Tours. It also includes upgradable depots, maintenance, customer relationships and recurring agreements, cost accounting, dispatcher profiles and a company career with mastery. Some systems and regions unlock through company progression.
This roadmap describes the planned expansion of that foundation. Existing functions are not being presented as new promises; their inclusion here also does not mean they are free of bugs.

Current priority · Planning window: Q4 2026
Further safeguard saving, loading and offline progress; address UI overlaps and presentation issues; make the economy and running costs easier to understand. Better statistics, tooltips, guidance and a clearer introduction are also planned.
Planned · Q4 2026 / Q1 2027
The existing European network is intended to grow with more cities, countries and international routes. Further priorities include regional logistics centers, transport demand and economic profiles, along with a clearer map, better filters and clearer visualization of active routes and fleet movements.
Planned · Q1 / Q2 2027
More vehicle and contract variety, additional transport options and further development of long-term contracts and specializations. We also aim to improve fleet management and profitability information per vehicle and tour. New specialized transport types will first undergo technical evaluation; individual types are not promised.
Planned · Q2 2027
Existing depots are intended to develop into more differentiated regional networks. The focus is on location choices, further investment and expansion decisions, and more strategic supply chains. Simplified transshipment and storage approaches are part of the plan and must first be evaluated for gameplay value and development effort.
Planned · Q2 / Q3 2027
We aim to develop the existing dispatcher and its customizable rules further. Planned priorities include better tour planning, return-freight search, empty-trip optimization and larger-fleet management. Vehicle groups, regional fleet assignment and a richer management overview will be evaluated as extensions.
Planned · Q3 / Q4 2027
More dynamic demand and regional market development, possible fuel-price and operating-cost events, and deeper company contracts. Customer relationships, reputation and the existing career are intended to provide more long-term decisions. Optional economic challenges are part of the plan, not a committed feature set.
Tentative planning target: late 2027 – not a fixed release date
Balance, long-term motivation, large-fleet performance and final UI/UX improvements are the priorities. Additional statistics and achievements will be evaluated. Quality and stability should determine when Cargo Directorate is ready for full release.
This roadmap describes our current development direction. Order, scope, content and planning windows may change with technical requirements and community feedback. Individual features and release dates are not binding commitments. Please base your purchase on the game available today, not solely on these future plans.
