ANVIL LIFE 1.9.0 — THE JOUST
SUMMARY
A new risk-and-reward table arrives with The Joust, while the Forge, Card Table, Candy Vault, languages, menus and save system all receive major improvements.
========================================
THE JOUST
A new table has arrived.
Choose your kill target from 5 to 40, place your Gold, and ride.
Reach your target and you can cash out whenever you want.
Keep pushing for more kills and the multiplier gets bigger, but one failed hit can end the ride and take the stake with it.
Higher targets start with better multipliers and offer better long-term returns.
Maximum payout: ×2,000.
The entire table can also be learned using Demo Chips before risking your Gold.
========================================
THE FORGE — SIMPLIFIED
Upgrade Papers have been streamlined.
There are now only two:
Iron Paper — +1 to +6
Ancient Sigil — +7 to +10
Old Papers are automatically converted, so nothing is lost.
Totems are also here.
You can now equip up to two Totems before an upgrade attempt and choose exactly what kind of protection or bonus you want.
Luck Totem — +8% success chance
Thrift Charm — returns the Paper after a failed attempt
Anvil Blood — +15% success chance, but doubles the Gold cost
Warding Seal — prevents the item from being destroyed on failure
Fortune Talisman — +12% success chance and returns the Paper
The Forge now also shows you what each item has cost you throughout its upgrade history.
========================================
THE CARD TABLE — ELITE TABLE
A new fifth Card Table tier has been added above Royal.
ELITE
2,500,000 Gold per unit
Level 80 requirement
The Card Table has also been resized for a clearer view of cards, chips and text.
========================================
THE CANDY VAULT
Auto-Spin now has a dedicated session panel.
You can see how much Gold will be spent, how much has already been spent, how much you have won and your best hit — all in one place.
The host also returns to her normal expression after a bad spin.
========================================
NEW LANGUAGES
Japanese and Korean are now fully supported.
Every menu, tooltip and all 20 chapters of the in-game guide have been translated.
Anvil Life now supports 9 languages.
The language selector has also been redesigned with a simple globe button and clearer language names.
========================================
THE TOP MENU
The top menu has been redesigned.
The old 16-tab layout is gone.
Everything is now grouped into:
BAG
FORGE
CREW
CASINO
GAME
Forge is highlighted as the main progression section, while Casino displays a NEW badge until you visit it.
The first time you enter Casino, you'll also get a quick introduction to the available tables.
========================================
SAVE SYSTEM
Your saves are now automatically backed up.
The game keeps up to 30 timestamped backups and lets you restore one directly from the Save screen.
A new button also lets you open the save folder directly.
========================================
1.9.1 HOTFIX
THE JOUST REBUILT
The Joust has been rebuilt with a new scrolling arena.
Monsters ride in from the right and are knocked from their mounts when you hit them.
Missing a hit unhorses you.
12 monster tiers have been added.
Choose your pace:
Calm
Flow
Quick
Turbo
The ride also accelerates as your kill count increases.
========================================
ECONOMY & COMBAT
Gold multipliers can now trigger a maximum of twice per run.
Gold and drop rewards now have a limit based on the expected number of kills in a dungeon.
Better gear now matters for reaching deeper content instead of enabling endless farming in lower tiers.
Monster attacks also deal meaningful damage even at higher levels.
Potions matter again, especially during longer Joust runs.
========================================
NEW VISUALS
New icons have been added for gear, potions, Papers and Totems.
Equipment slots and the portrait frame have also been redesigned.
The Card Table has been returned to its natural size with larger cards, chips and text.
========================================
