Based on feedback I have improved the matchmaking a lot in this patch.
I will be looking at your feedback and check posts on Discord/Reddit to hear how the improvements feel. I can't disclose too much about the internal changes, but matchmaking in general should be more precise and feel much more balanced than before (especially in higher ranks).
The recent adjustments of the Season 2 rating system had gotten very good feedback. It took the game in the right direction, but the highest of ranks are still slightly too harsh. There are simply slightly too few people in the high ranks than I would like. As a result, Diamond+ ranks have been made more forgiving.
This rating adjustment, along with improved matchmaking will hopefully make the game feel more balanced and enjoyable for competitive players and casual players alike.
I will keep a close eye on the ladder in the coming weeks.
Dream Catcher at 3 Star, 1s CD no longer causes the item above it to not trigger, by continously setting its cooldown to 1s.
I want to take a moment and acknowledge that the "Recent Reviews" on Steam as turned Mixed after the launch of Season 2. I read every review, and I often become pretty emotional when reading negative feedback. But regardless, it helps me take the game in the direction that the players want. During early acces (and afterwards) will continously improve the game and do everything in my power to take action on your feedback.
If you are one of the people who left a bad review due to the new rating system, I want you to know that I take your feedback very seriously. I will keep updating the game, improving the systems and of course, add more content. If you want to help the game's future, please consider leaving a Steam review (or updating your existing).
