Hello Heisters!
It is time to announce the next update coming for the game, and its quite a big one...
This is a huge milestone for PAYDAY 2 and it has been a massive undertaking for our team.
Some of the improvements are but not limited to:
The long awaited port to 64 bits
An upgrade from DX9 to DX11 rendering
Game file size reduction to ~32gb
Faster load times on SSDs
6 character lobby codes
And more...
With any big change, there are bound to be some bugs, therefore we will have an open beta period running starting from June 30th until the end of July. This should give us time to iron out any potential quirks, and also for modders to get their mods updated. More information will be revealed about the beta test on the 30th.
