Backstory
Once, Van Helsing was a priest giving sermons in a small village church. However, as fewer and fewer villagers attended his services day by day, he followed a bloody trail that led him straight to a vampire nest. There, to his horror, he discovered that his missing congregation was now dwelling there as an undead brood. Unable to bring himself to kill his once-pious flock, he wept and prayed to the heavens for their salvation. It was then that Mary appeared before him. With gleaming arrows, she purged the nest until nothing but piles of ash remained.
Awestruck by this divine destructive power, Van Helsing swore eternal loyalty to her. He traded his prayer book for heavy wooden stakes and bulging muscles. Since that day, he has been following Mary’s every step with an obsessive, completely one-sided crush - ready to tear to pieces anything that has succumbed to the darkness for the sake of his holy idol.
