We’re incredibly excited to welcome you to the developer diary for our new project, Hotel Simulator! This is a special moment for us — we can finally start sharing what we’ve been working on.
First of all, thank you for all the feedback we received from you on Hotel Renovator. It is extremely valuable to us, and we want to make full use of it while creating Hotel Simulator, so we can deliver an even better experience.
It’s a game where you take on the role of a manager — and eventually the owner — of a motel in Winston Springs, a town you may know from Car Dealer Simulator.
In Hotel Simulator, you will need to focus on managing your motel. The most important thing will be meeting your guests’ expectations, because their reviews will have a real impact on your business growth. From the moment a guest checks in until they leave, you will have to take care of every detail during their stay. The final rating will be a key stage — after all, who chooses hotels with poor reviews? :)
Hiring employees will come with a range of responsibilities, while the open world of Winston Springs will bring many surprising activities that were missing from our previous game.
Your task will not only be to take care of guests, but also to grow your business, design better and better rooms, and decorate them. Hundreds of new items, wallpapers, and decorations will allow you to achieve your dream design. You will decide the size and layout of rooms yourself thanks to the new wall-building system.
We want to create something more than just a simulator — we want to make a game that lets you truly feel the atmosphere of running your own hotel, with all its charm and challenges.
During gameplay, you won’t be limited to just one location. You’ll start with a small motel in Winston Springs, and over time you’ll expand your empire by buying more hotels.
In upcoming devlogs, we’ll show you more details — screenshots, gameplay footage, and behind-the-scenes looks at development. We also plan to share our design decisions and gather your feedback.
We’ll be posting updates in Steam devlogs, as well as on our Discord channel:
