We have recently received various feedback regarding the game online. Thank you to everyone who has shown interest. Below, we have summarized the points that multiple users have pointed out:
Dislike for AI-generated assets: Users do not want even a small amount of AI-generated assets included.
Store page capsule illustration: The current illustration is considered poor.
Game title illustration: The current illustration is considered poor.
Store page trailer: The trailer does not effectively explain the game.
UI issues: The UI is considered poor and complicated.
Difficulty: The game is too easy, and the gameplay feels predictable.
Early game engagement: Users do not see a reason to keep playing in the early stages.
We are looking for your opinions on the major revisions we plan to implement to address the points above in the May 11 update. Please leave your feedback in the comments of this post or in the discussion section; we will read everything. The planned update details are as follows:
Remaking the title illustration: We plan to change it to better symbolize the actual gameplay experience.
Adding and modifying store trailers: We will add one "how-to" trailer and modify the existing trailer to better explain the game.
Improving UI: While we cannot overhaul the overall consistency right now, we will partially improve parts of the UI that are currently uncomfortable to look at.
Removing all characters: Characters will no longer be used in the game. Elements where characters were associated with lines and towers will be intuitively renamed to terms like "Screw Line" and "Screw Tower."
Deleting all story elements related to characters: All character dialogue in the game will be removed.
Improving early game experience (Stages 1–5): We are improving the early game to be more exciting and to help users get comfortable with the game mechanics faster.
We will be releasing a minor update on May 4 that includes some of the items mentioned above. This update will give you a preview of the upcoming major update. Please check these changes in the game; if you have any objections, please leave your feedback as described above, and we will try to reflect it. If there is a majority of negative opinions, we are considering canceling the update.
Remaking the title illustration.
Adding and modifying store trailers.
Deleting character dialogue: Due to technical issues, the deletion of the entire character system will be reflected in the regular update on the 11th.
Other small bug fixes, etc.
Surprisingly, regarding the game's graphics, which I was most worried about, opinions were split roughly 50/50 between "the graphics are bad" and "the graphics are not bad." Of course, I recognize that our game's graphics are not excellent, but quite a few people have noted they are bearable. Therefore, we will focus more on the overall game experience for now and improve the graphics steadily over the long term.
Regarding AI, while many said this level was acceptable, it was not the general opinion that "it is better to keep it," so we have decided to remove it. Furthermore, the game did not have characters until very recently, as they were added in the final stages of development. That is why the feedback suggests they do not fit the game.
To bring our game to as many players as possible, we are currently utilizing AI translation. However, we are personally reviewing every sentence to ensure the best possible experience.
If you encounter any awkward or incorrect expressions, please report them through the community, and we will correct and reflect those changes immediately.
