Detached Chart Windows and Dual-Instrument Trading in Origin

This update gives you more freedom to arrange your charts and introduces dual-instrument trading to Origin.

Open Charts in Separate Windows

Press Shift + Middle Mouse Button over a chart to detach it into a separate window. Move it, resize it, or place it on another monitor to build a chart layout that suits you.

Detached charts retain their timeframe, drawings, and orders, while market time stays synchronized with the main window. Use the shortcut again or close the detached window to return the chart to the main layout.

Like the middle-click chart fullscreen shortcut introduced in the previous update, this shortcut can be customized in Settings.

Trade Two Instruments in Origin

New Origin rounds now randomly select two different instruments, letting you trade both markets during the same historical week.

Switch between them using the instrument list, or display each instrument on a separate chart to monitor prices, positions, and pending orders side by side. Pending orders and take-profit/stop-loss orders for the other instrument remain active when you switch charts or instruments.

Equity curves in Round History, Review, and Practice now support both instruments. Existing single-instrument rounds can still be continued and reviewed.

Fixes and Improvements

  • Fixed position and pending-order lines drifting away from their corresponding prices on unfocused charts in layouts with multiple charts and instruments.
  • Fixed take-profit and stop-loss orders for the other instrument sometimes failing to trigger while the currently viewed instrument's market was closed.
