Okay, guys, don’t freak out—the size of this patch doesn’t mean we added another 3 GB of content in a weekːws_damanː. We upgraded Unreal Engine to 5.8.3 and reworked a bunch of shaders, which is mainly what caused the patch size to blow up. Anyway, here's what's new:
Fixed multiple task objective tracking.
Removed Dildo Stall cash storage so cash from stall sales goes directly into your inventory and does not get frozen if the lease expires. Any cash previously stored there is automatically transferred to your bank account and can be withdrawn from an ATM. Shop counters with registers still store cash in the registers first.
Fixed tourists not getting off the boat, dropping merch when getting back on, and the boats not leaving.
Made the small grow room ceiling upgrades add a grow setup component-compatible ceiling.
Improved wall placement snapping and fixed the clipping issues.
Added counter weed stock visualizers and strain names to jars and seed packs.
Fixed a bunch of corner-case crashes and UI related issues.
Shader caching, compile times, lighting, reflections, and performance have all been improved. Performance will naturally vary based on your PC and graphics settings, but overall Highland should feel smoother.
And that's about it ːws_damanː If you run into any other issues or if we missed something, let us know. Otherwise, stay tuned for the next monthly—we’re cooking up more shit as we speak.
