A big art update! I've spent a lot of time on this, and everything new you'll meet below was made from scratch for Dungeoneers Idle instead of coming from an asset pack.
New:
Goblins have moved in! A whole new enemy family made just for this game, mostly found in caves: scrappy little goblins with daggers and bows, Hobgoblin brutes and shamans, and a Goblin King wearing a crown he definitely stole.
Something huge has been spotted deep in the dungeons, and those who saw it only say the ground shook. Keep your eyes open!
Improved:
Every dungeon type now dresses its rooms with brand-new models, from glittering ice in the frost halls to glowing mushrooms in the caves. Beaten bosses open a swirling magic portal instead of a plain staircase, and each dungeon type's portal burns its own colour.
Heroes who used to share a look now wear headgear made just for them, from the Cleric's mitre to the Druid's antlers. The bosses got crowns and helms of their own too.
Bandits and cultists are no longer your own heroes in darker clothes! They have brand-new bodies of their own: scruffy bandits, bearded bruisers, stern pale cultists and war-painted zealots.
When a dungeon's boss appears, the pillars of its arena rise out of the floor with it.
After the boss falls, your party now walks all the way onto the portal before stepping through, instead of vanishing on the way there.
Every dungeon on the world map has a brand-new entrance of its own: a haunted mausoleum, a torchlit cave, a walled keep, a golden temple or a frozen tower. Beat one and it crumbles into a smoking ruin, so you can see at a glance where you've already been.
Taking gear off by hand that your loot filter wouldn't keep? The equip screen now asks if you'd like to sell it on the spot or keep it in the backpack. Your call!
Welcome back, and a lot faster! Working out what your party got up to while you were away now takes about a quarter of the time, so a long night offline no longer means a long wait. Same loot, same gold, same progress, just sooner.
Fixed:
Rallying Colors on your armor and on an accessory only counted once. The accessory one is now War Horn with its own Emboldened buff, so both pieces count, even the ones already in your bag.
Catching up on time away no longer flashes overworld messages or a boss health bar behind the summary window.
The DPS in the Attributes window could show more than a really fast Barbarian actually dealt. It now matches what your hero does in the fight.
When auto-equip swaps in new gear, the old piece now gets sold right away if your loot filter wouldn't keep it. No more filtered junk piling up in the backpack after every upgrade.
Status signs and sparkles no longer hang in the air over enemies that are already dead.
The Reset Camera button no longer hides behind the boss's health bar. It now waits just below it.
The icons for buffs from your gear could go missing from your heroes' panels, on the world map and when a new dungeon started. The buffs themselves always worked, and now their icons always show too.
Static Discharge on your gear no longer turns the Electromancer's Chain Lightning stun into a slow. Its slow is now called Static, so the two finally get along.
Thanks for playing, and keep the feedback coming in the Discord server.
