Two dungeons. Eight new depths. A world that keeps growing. Yondel's largest update yet opens Dungeon 1 and Dungeon 2, takes the caves down to Floor -10, and brings ocean shores, lava, rain and snow to the world. Create a Yondel account, take your worlds between PC and Android, find your friends, and build a place worth coming home to. Co-op note: Everyone in a session must be on 0.4.9. Older clients cannot join.
Dungeon 1 and Dungeon 2 are open — enter through the dungeon lobby, alone or with friends. Each dungeon has 40 hand-built rooms, with 10 selected at random for each run to create varied routes.
Clear the room, open the chest — reward chests stay locked until the room is cleared. Loot is rolled separately for each player, so you do not have to race your friends to the rewards.
No friendly fire — players cannot damage each other in the lobby or dungeon rooms.
Eight new underground floors — explore Floors -3 through -10, each with its own stone, ores and secondary minerals. The deeper you go, the more the smithing ladder opens up.
New ores, ore piles and bars — mine and smelt a full new range of materials beyond iron.
Cave bosses — Floors -1 and -3 now each have a boss waiting below.
New creatures on Floors -2 and -3 — encounter new cave dwellers, collect their drops, and craft new weapons from what they leave behind.
Skull torches — bring a grimmer kind of light to your underground base.
Reworked swamps — the wetland biome introduced in 0.4.8 has been retextured from the ground up, with dark water, algae shorelines, gas bubbles and its own creatures.
Ocean biome — open sea now marks the edge of the map. Discover beaches, palms and shorelines, with deeper water beyond the shallows.
Ogre huts — find fortified swamp camps with interiors you can enter and an Ogre Guard standing watch. These are the first world structures of their kind that can be torn down.
Lava — glowing pools light the surrounding ground and damage anything that wades through them. They can be crossed, but doing so comes at a cost.
Rain and snow — weather now rolls across the surface, with light, steady and heavy rain ambience, ground splashes, and cold wind beneath the snowfall.
Longer days — an extended daylight window gives you more time to farm, build and return home before dark.
A world that moves — fireflies drift at night, butterflies follow you by day, and leaves fall from trees or shake loose when you chop. Natural grass adds life to the surface.
Redrawn and reanimated water — shallows, deep water and shorelines are easier to distinguish at a glance.
Sign up and sign in — Yondel accounts bring your progress, purchases and social connections together.
Cloud saves — your worlds follow your account between PC and Android. Start on one device and continue on the other.
Player profiles — open your profile from the main menu to see your statistics, account details and record.
Public server and global chat — talk to other online players from inside the game.
Friends — send and accept requests, see who is online, send private messages and invite friends into your world.
Expanded clans — found a clan, invite members, promote leaders and carry your clan tag into co-op.
More flag customization — new options, including trims, give your clan banner more personality.
Global leaderboards — compare your record with players worldwide, starting with days survived.
Alchemy table — brew potions with timed effects using a new station and recipe set.
Dryer rack — hang grass to dry it into wheat, adding another way to support your food and animal-care supplies.
Fireplace — build a fuel-burning hearth that brings light and warmth to your home.
Rugs — decorate floors with a second layer that sits beneath your furniture.
Waylight stones — place waylights and travel between them to connect your base, mine and farm.
Owner walls — protect what you build in public sessions with walls that belong to you.
Strawberry and grass doors — two new door styles to match your builds.
Taming — feed wild animals wheat to tame them.
Leads — lead your tamed animals home instead of nudging them along.
Status effects on your HUD — a live icon row shows active buffs and ailments, including their remaining duration.
Six creature health-bar styles — choose a style in Options, or turn the readouts off.
New hats — expand your collection with new headgear, including trophies from the new cave creatures.
13 languages — English, 简体中文, Русский, Tiếng Việt, Español, Italiano, Français, Deutsch, Türkçe, Polski, العربية, فارسی and کوردیی ناوەندی, with full right-to-left support.
Controller support — use PlayStation or Xbox controllers on PC and Android, with a dedicated controls tab for remapping.
Rebuilt Options menu — clearer organization and new settings, including the option to hide the mouse cursor.
New maps screen — map items now open a clearer, redesigned overlay.
Redesigned cooking station — a dedicated art kit and revised layout for recipes and cooking slots.
Reworked Android controls and UI — updated touch inventory, hotbar, crafting, stations and movement controls.
New music and sounds — separate menu, day and night playlists with smooth crossfades, plus new creature voices and notification sounds.
The co-op protocol has moved from 42 to 57. Version and protocol must both match: 0.4.8 clients cannot join 0.4.9 sessions.
Existing worlds continue to load. Discover new biomes and depths in newly generated areas.

Fully drainable lakes — removing surrounding water now updates deep-water tiles correctly, so using buckets no longer leaves isolated, undrainable deep water on dry ground.
