Major Update — New PvP System

Update schedule

The update will take place on September 12, 2026, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM (UTC-3).

During this period, the server will restart and the game will be temporarily unavailable, but it may return earlier than expected. Once the server is back online, close the game and download the new update through Steam before playing again.

New PvP system

PvP has arrived in Bomb Farm! Build your Selection, challenge other players, climb the Ranking, and earn Runes to strengthen your heroes.

PvP Selection

• PvP has its own team called the Selection, separate from your farming team. Selected heroes continue farming normally and do not spend Energy during duels.
• The Selection starts with 2 slots and can be expanded to 4, 6, 8, and 9 heroes using Time Parts.
• Progression includes the Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, and Mythic tiers, each with 20 upgrades. Every upgrade requires one Time Part of each rarity required by the current tier.
• You can click any tier, including locked ones, to preview its appearance, rarity, and number of slots before investing. This preview does not change your current Selection.

How duels work

• Duels are asynchronous: you do not need to wait for your opponent to be online or accept the challenge. The game searches for a real player with a similar score, prioritizing opponents you have not faced that day.
• Each duel simulates 60 seconds with both teams in the same arena. Targets regenerate during battle, and the team that removes the most total HP wins.
• After the result, you can watch or skip the replay without changing the outcome.
• The daily limit starts at 3 duels for regular accounts and 6 for VIP players. Each new Selection tier grants +1 daily duel, reaching a maximum of 7 without VIP and 10 with VIP.
• Being selected as a defender does not consume duels, change your points, or remove rewards, even while you are offline.

Points, ranks, and arenas

• Each victory grants 5 points, while each defeat removes 10 points. Your score cannot fall below zero.
• R1 and R2 use the Easy 5-10 arena.
• R3 uses the Normal 4-10 arena.
• R4 uses the Hard 3-10 arena.
• R5 uses the Very Hard 2-10 arena.
• R6 uses the Hell 1-10 arena.
• The arena’s appearance corresponds to the duel rank, while the challenge also considers the Power of both teams.
• PvP has its own Ranking category.
• Each victory grants 1 Rune Chest. If both your Bag and Special Chest are full, the reward will be lost and the game will display a warning.

Rune system

• Runes are temporary bonuses obtained exclusively from PvP Rune Chests.
• There are Runes for Attack, Energy, Speed, Critical Chance, Critical Damage, Cooldown Reduction, XP, and Gold.
• Depending on their rarity, Runes grant 5%, 9%, 13%, 17%, 21%, or 25%. Each PvP rank unlocks another possible rarity, up to Mythic Runes at the sixth rank.
• Each Rune lasts for 24 hours of playtime. Its duration is paused while you are offline.
• A Rune with the same rarity and attribute increases the duration up to 72 hours. A higher-rarity Rune replaces the lower-rarity one, while a lower-rarity Rune is refused without being consumed.
• To use a Rune, click it in your Bag, select a hero, and confirm. The hero’s information panel will display the active bonus and remaining time.

Runes on the Steam Market

• New Rune Chests earned through PvP can be listed on the Steam Community Market.
• Rare, Epic, Legendary, and Mythic Runes can also be traded on the Market.
• Common and Uncommon Runes cannot be sent to Steam, but they can still be sold for Gold inside the game.

Other improvements

• Clicking an attribute or ability adds 1 point. Holding the button for half a second opens a selector where you can distribute a larger amount.
• Skin Packages brought from Steam now correctly display the remaining time of the 7-day waiting period.
• The Wiki has been expanded in all four languages with information about PvP, the Selection, ranks, arenas, Runes, and trading.

Fixes

• Fixed the Continue button and Bag refresh after opening a Rune Chest.
• Fixed Runes not being applied when the hero was already selected.
• Trash Mode no longer uses Runes or Skin Packages when the player is attempting to sell them.
• Fixed repeated requests that could occur while accepting the Terms, during maintenance, or under other access restrictions, improving overall stability.
