100% GenAI Free!

Hey everyone!I'm happy to let everyone know that Konbini Cleanup is now 100% GenAI free!Over the past few days I've been working to replace all GenAI textures, and after scouring all the levels and files multiple times over, I've now got all of it.Here's an example of an AI texture from an asset pack that was originally in the game vs its replacement:

Thank you everyone for your patience in this matter. I never wanted Konbini Cleanup to have GenAI in it, and I'm glad that it now does not, as was my original vision for the game. The AI ended up in the game from textures in certain assets I had purchased. Some of these assets clearly stated they had used GenAI in the creation of the assets (a warning which I unfortunately failed to notice). While I did notice the AI textures during development, it was too close to release date to have time to fix them before launch.I say this not as an excuse. The fact AI textures ended up in the game at launch is entirely my fault and responsibility. However, I thought I would offer this explanation for those who are interested, and also to say that going forward in any upcoming games I will be more vigilant in the assets I add in order to prevent GenAI from being a part of them. Thanks again for all the feedback, and thanks for playing!

I've made a couple of changes to the way Konbini Cleanup launches, and hopefully that will help anyone who is crashing at launch to be able to actually play the game. When you launch the game, you should now see a box that asks you to choose between "Default" and "DX11 (Use If Crashing)". If you are crashing on launch every time, try the DX11 option, and let me know how it goes. P…Game update30 Aug 2026Chips Can HotfixHey, just a quick hotfix to address an issue where sometimes too many of 1 type of canned chips would spawn, and not enough of another. If you had this issue you should now have the correct amount of each, though potentially some of the chips will have had to be respawned off the shelf. Thanks!
