To thank all players who have purchased Detective Sherlock: Shadow Stalker, the development team has decided to extend this event until September 30.
Event Period: Effective immediately until 24:00 on September 30
During the event, all players who own the game can talk with NPCs through AI dialogue and use the voice features without restriction, regardless of their remaining Token balance.
After the event ends, the original Token consumption rules will be restored. Every player receives several million Tokens with their purchase of the game, which can be used for AI dialogue and voice services. Once the included Tokens have been used, additional Token packs will be required to continue using these features.
About AI Dialogue and Voice Services
The game’s AI dialogue and voice content is generated in real time using third-party AI models and voice services. Each use incurs actual costs for model calls and text and voice generation, which the development team must continue paying to third-party service providers.
Therefore, to ensure that these services can remain stable and available over the long term, players will need to purchase additional Token packs once the Tokens included with the game have been used.
The development team is currently working to improve this situation by:
Negotiating free usage allowances and discounted rates with service providers;
Testing and optimising more cost-effective AI models;
Supporting the option for players to enter their own API keys and access third-party AI model services in a future update.
