After 3 years of work, Educational Family Games is almost ready.
The game launches next Friday, July 10 on Steam, PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.
Educational Family Games is a local multiplayer party game made for families, friends, kids, parents and grandparents to play together in the same room. It combines quick educational challenges with classic party-game fun, creating a game night experience that is easy to start, fun to watch, and different every time you play.
The idea was simple:
What if an educational game was not only for kids?
What if parents could enjoy it too?
What if the whole family could sit together, compete, laugh, learn, and say “one more round” instead of everyone ending up on a different screen?
That is what Educational Family Games is built around.
The game includes 80 quick games across math, geography, logic, memory, reflexes, science, chemistry, arts, anatomy, and many fun party-style challenges. One moment you may be solving math under pressure, the next you may be racing bikes, flying rockets, dodging danger, scoring goals, copying drawings, testing your memory, or teaming up in chaotic 2-vs-2 challenges.
There are 5 interactive game boards, 10 playable characters, gem collecting, crowns to win, AI opponents, and flexible play sessions. You can play a quick 10-minute session or turn it into a longer family tournament.
Educational Family Games supports 1–4 local players. You can play alone with AI opponents, or play together with family and friends. Empty player slots are filled by AI, so the game always feels active even when fewer people are playing.
Short on controllers? You can also use Android or iOS smartphones as gamepads with the free GamePad Link companion app.
The game is fully voiced in 19 languages, so every instruction, word, and character line is narrated. This makes it easier for younger children, pre-readers, grandparents, and players who prefer listening instead of reading. The goal was to make the game accessible, friendly, and easy to enjoy for as many families as possible.
Educational Family Games is also violence-free. It was designed for living-room play, family gatherings, holidays, parties, and shared moments between different ages.
Please note that this is a dedicated local multiplayer game. It is designed for people playing together in the same room and does not include online play.
After nearly 3 years of development, testing, translating, voicing, polishing, rebuilding, fixing, and improving, I am very excited to finally bring Educational Family Games to players.
