Why We're Creating a Sequel
We’re having a blast building Deadzone Rogue, and players are asking for more! Deadzone Rogue 2 gives us the chance to expand on everything we love about the original while introducing new ideas, deeper systems, and a larger world to explore. Many of these ideas go beyond what would fit naturally into the existing game, which is why we felt a sequel was the right way to realize them. What's New in Deadzone Rogue 2
Deadzone Rogue 2 takes the fight to Earth, where Talon 13-10 continues humanity’s battle against Monarch. For the first time, Deadzone Rogue 2 introduces new abilities, adding more variety to builds, combat, and co-op party composition. We’re also adding hostile new environments, enemies, bosses, perks, items, music, and expanded mission variety. Progression is being redesigned to support deeper specialization and experimentation, with crazier action, playstyles, and new ways to break the game.

What platforms will Deadzone Rogue 2 run on during the demo?
The demo will be available for PC, Xbox, and PlayStation soon. We'd like to bring Deadzone Rogue 2 to Nintendo Switch 2 after the demo as well.
What will Deadzone Rogue 2 cost?
We believe great co-op games should be easy to pick up and play together. Deadzone Rogue 2 will be priced similarly to the first game, with optional cosmetic DLC for anyone who wants to support it further.
Will Deadzone Rogue 2 still feel like Deadzone Rogue?
We want to preserve the core Deadzone Rogue experience, while creating a true sequel that builds on the original. Core elements include gameplay and gun feel, roguelite build crafting, the Sci-fi universe, solo and co-op play, wielding elements, missions and zones, and yes, Planty!
Is there a development roadmap?
We’re planning to launch the demo soon for PC, Xbox, and PlayStation, then head into Early Access on PC after, before a full 1.0 release. We like to ship based on player feedback, so let us know what you’re thinking of the game anytime in Steam, Discord, or Reddit!
Will Deadzone Rogue 1 still be supported?
Yes! While the story is progressing with new content in DZR2, we will continue to support DZR1 with bug fixes for issues as needed.
