Localization update is now live!

Greetings, tacticians!

After a long time (maybe a little too long), the localization update is finally complete!

With this update, you can now play Spellpowder: Uprising in French, German, Spanish, Japanese, Lithuanian, and Simplified Chinese.

Please keep in mind that these translations were generated with the help of AI, so English is still the recommended way to experience the game.

So why add localization at all? Well, primarily for testing purposes. I'm curious to see whether localization helps the game reach more players on Steam, and which languages, if any, make the biggest difference.

Secondly, I hope these translations make the game more accessible to players who would rather not play in English, or perhaps add a little replay value for those who have already completed the game.

This update also includes a few small bug fixes, both from player reports and things I happened to come across myself, but nothing large enough to justify a separate update.

This will also probably be the last major update for Spellpowder: Uprising, unless the game somehow picks up again.

I've started thinking about creating a new game, though it's still only in the planning stage. If you're interested in more turn-based RPGs, the Spellpowder Discord will be the first place where I announce anything new.
