Jo's been busy. I supervised.
Things that were apparently my fault
I used to follow you out of the lab, still yelling about the camera, all the way to the station. I was committed to the bit. Now I stop at the door like a professional.
My big line is also in time with the footage now. I was ahead of the beat. Artistically.
I come back after the Soul trap. Previously I did not come back at all, which nobody noticed for ages. Lovely. Really warms a sock.
Things that were genuinely Jo's fault
She can press the emergency stop and the train actually stops. The button survives it too, unless she lets the train hit it, which is on her.
There's a real emergency stop post now instead of that grey box. Took her long enough.
The ticket machine finally admits it's out of order instead of saying nothing.
The vending machine gives your click back after you take the ticket. You can close your eyes again.
She stops grabbing at coins she's already holding.
She can move while the Beauty Queen goes on about the pills. You're welcome.
Things that were the game's fault
No more crash when you load a save while someone's talking. Rude to interrupt anyway.
People stop talking over each other when a scene cuts them off.
Moments fire once now, not twice. I only need to say things once.
The broken lab camera falls every time you come back, sparks and all.
The waiting room lights exist again.
Things for people who care about numbers
Quality presets, a 60 fps cap matched to your screen, and a quick benchmark on first launch so it picks something sensible.
V-Sync stays where you put it.
Walls are much sharper. We got back most of the detail the engine upgrade quietly ate.
The Quit button is gone from the Settings pages, where people kept hitting it and leaving. Not ideal.
Chapter saves ship with the game, and chapter 5 starts at the right time of day instead of eight seconds past midnight.
Now go get the ticket.
