Hi,

This update has a bunch of bug fixes!

Our artist is still working hard on the V4 Male Bachelor Portraits -> Here's another small teaser, many are complete but secret (but can't help but give a few more teasers) :)

PAX West in Seattle was alot of fun. I talked to alot of cool people and got fantastic feedback on the game. Everyone is so kind! Thanks for chatting if you stopped by ;)

I'm working on finishing up the snowboarding mini-game and arcade freeplay mode from the title screen, to play any arcade game for free. I also have an entire in-game pixel editor and mod support in development, nightly progress tally's and a new skill tree system, as well as many other fun systems in development (most of which I can't even remember off the top of my head, I'll include the roadmap at the bottom of these update notes).

Lots of Love,

- David

💬 Villagers say what we wrote for them

  • 755 weather lines across 38 characters were written, translated, and never played once.

  • Four conversation systems were built, then switched off by a numbering mistake. The day you met, you getting good at mining or fishing, you getting rich, and rough days.

  • Eight characters had lines sharing one slot, so you got two at once. Gertrude had seven pairs.

  • Kyoko's married-only lines were leaking to unmarried players. 18 of them.

  • Aderly was missing from the romanceable list, so he never said his personal lines.

  • Rufus was registered twice in four festival rosters.

  • The wizard's snail was reciting the wizard's human lines. He worried about turning into a snail. He is a snail.

  • Seven Japanese lines had a girl talking like a guy, or the reverse.

🌍 Translated all along, still showing in English

  • Every NPC birthday on the calendar, in all 29 languages.

  • All 255 furniture blueprints.

  • Animal prompts showed the species in English. The horse training prompt also translated names you picked. It leaves your names alone.

🎣 Fishing

  • The rod grabbed itself in the mines. Running through water cast for you mid fight. Now it waits until you stop and look, and never with an enemy on you. Thanks Kevin.

  • 16 water patches were the wrong size. One was 37 times too big, so dry rock counted as a fishing spot.

  • Beach cave and slime cave water was on the wrong layer, so weeds and hotspots read a different river.

  • The auto-tool watering can lava pool bug.

  • Lose your rod for good and loading your farm gives it back.

⛏️ Mines and caves

  • The mine elevator could go dead after a fight. Down worked, up did not, for the rest of the session.

  • Lit TNT barrels could be sucked into your bag instead of exploding.

  • One cave gave you day music when you surfaced at night.

  • Baby spiders land on the floor instead of the ceiling.

⚔️ Combat and bosses

  • Monsters forgot about you when your pet fainted.

  • Bosses could spawn twice if you died to them.

  • A slingshot pellet could hit the same target several times in one frame.

  • An enemy directly behind you did not count as attacking you.

  • Three of the four dangles on the spider boss ceiling were empty, so the reward dropped one time in four.

  • Your pets were attacking at half speed.

🎪 Festivals

  • Festival crowds were getting squashed. Every festival remembered last year's spots and squeezed this year's villagers into the gaps.

  • Nine missing attendees are back.

  • Festival music followed you home and played over the whole map all day.

  • An impossible achievement, and a festival you could save inside.

💰 Exploits and lost items

  • The crystallizer and the mushroom bag handed back two of everything, forever. The triple crystallizer card still pays three.

  • The honey machine was printing money.

  • Fish traps gave the same fish every time.

  • Passing out at 3am and sleeping again paid you a second day of animal produce.

  • A slot machine bonus round counted as two plays.

  • You could sell your own tools into the shipping bin.

  • The blackberry gemstone could be lost for good.

  • The land deed vanished if you handed it to the wrong person.

  • The sewing wheel shorted you one item.

  • The Gourmet processor gave the wrong snack for 72 of 74 vegetables.

🐄 Animals and breeding

  • "DNA Baby!" was only watching cows and chickens. Horses and slimes count, and one baby of each kind does it. Thanks mfhaas.

  • Breeding a horse counted toward nothing, not even Bloodline.

  • A leftover test switch made every pairing work first try. Happy animals breed, miserable ones do not.

🌱 Farm, new games and saves

  • A brand new farm kept your old farm's level, skill points and skills, and handed you achievements on day one.

  • Buying the full game after the demo still left you in the demo. Your build decides now, not your old save.

  • Crops barely grew in a zone you had not visited for a few days.

  • A save could be written over with a half-loaded cooking storage.

  • The greenhouse never showed tilled or watered ground.

  • A pot with the right ingredients could refuse to cook. A large herb counts as a vegetable and a herb, so it took the wrong slot.

🎮 Controller

  • The button tips beside your backpack were blinking. Thanks Shawn. ("Hopefully it's fixed")

  • The d-pad on the TV changed the channel and swapped your tool at the same time.

  • Sleeping with Y left your bag open in the morning.

  • B goes back one page in the recipe book instead of closing it.

  • The slingshot and bow attack from their real range.

  • "Press X to put this in your ammo slot" does that now.

  • One tap is one action. Tapping A to put a log in the saw sometimes put in two. Thanks Kevin.

  • Splitting a stack works.

  • The sort buttons work while storage is open.

  • Chest blueprints are the right size on the crafting page.

🏁 Quests and quality of life

  • The racetrack tells you what it wants. Turning up without a pet did nothing at all, and it was blocking the pineapple gemstone quest.

  • Pressing Skip killed the quest chain.

  • Tapping Escape during a minigame run ended it and took your 150 gold. It asks first, and the run counts once instead of twice.

  • Item icons grew a little every time you picked one up. Ones the bug already inflated heal themselves.

  • The decorate-a-room button could switch on where it does nothing and lock you out of chests.

  • The cookbook forgot which recipes you can make after you backed out of one.

  • The cooking container never showed the buy 1 / 5 / 25 hints, and the store kept offering one after you owned it.

  • Duplicate top cabinets on old saves, the deed handed to Rufus after his cutscene, and the bomb stop skipped in the intro.

🏞️ Graphical Issues, Thin lines in the ground

  • Those faint seams where two bits of ground meet are mostly gone. Eight ground textures had razor sharp edges. The ocean, town, vineyard, slime area, farm and beach all got better. The beach and the junction are still on our list.

🧊 Crashes and freezes

  • Three live 11.6 crashes fixed, found in error reports rather than bug reports.

  • Twelve freezes and dead-input bugs fixed before anyone hit them.

  • Enemies and pets could freeze in place when a slow or a chill wore off.

🐛 And a lot more

About fifty more fixes that were not included.

They were being drawn just above the top of the screen, so you could not see them or click them, and you were stuck on tab 1. All 6 tabs work again. - The tabs are smaller and sit neatly along the top of the storage window, so they no longer cover your items. - Fixed a grey square that could appear over the storage window…In-game event19 Aug 2026📦 Update 11.0: Placeable Chests & Dual Pane Storage 🎮This update is a big one for inventory management, and I built it alongside progressing the next few updates. Steam Deck and controller players kept telling me the same thing: moving items around felt blind and fiddly, and they wished they could see their backpack and the storage they were using at the same time. Honestly, I did not know how to fit both of them on screen with a fully upgraded b…
