1.5 adds an entire meta progression system, a strong buff to player economy, and bug fixes.

Previous complete runs to this update will be able to grant rewards. Click on Unclaimed Rewards in the main menu to get meta progression resource from your runs previous to 1.5.

Meta Progression & Battle Lab

Finishing runs will now grant rewards, scrap and trainer units. scrap is a resource used for unlocking trainer slots for a unit as well as unlocking a subclass loadouts for them. The meta progression is accessible through the Battle Lab. The battle lab is on the main menu.

Trainers

At the end of a run you will be awarded with trainers. The trainers you get are based on the units you used through out the run and amount is increased with difficulty level and length of the run. Arena mode counts as max difficulty. Trainers have three stats which effect what and how well they will train units for future runs. Trainers can increase base stats, give extra deployment aspects, and give unique perks.

Subclasses

You can unlock and assign a subclass in the battle lab. These will give units an additional starting perk and some will also change weapons. All units have an "Enhanced" subclass which does not change the weapon but will grant an additional perk.

Player Buffs

The base line income per round has been increased by 4 for PvE and 2 for PvP. From the data I've seen a lot of the difficulty is not from enemies being too strong but from being overly punished for suboptimal builds and experimentation. This +4 income should greatly increase the viability of experimenting and giving money based builds a good power boost.

Bugfix

Survival mode no longer keeps the same round counter after being defeated. No more round 1 rampagers.
