Hello everyone! Vincent here from TBA Studio. We want to share a quick update about a new visual thing we just added to TypeCaster.
Some of you (who follow us on social media) might know that at the Gamescom event recently we launched the newest version of TypeCaster that comes with a "color" feature. Well, let us share the origin story of it to you guys.
The decision to introduce this color element came up a while after our demo was released to the public. After evaluating the pains from our demo testers, we noticed many players have a hard time to identify the enemy's elements during combat. Because of this, we made a Reddit post a while ago asking your opinion about using specific color to identify elements.
So we decided to implement it fully.
Right now, all the colors included in the game are strictly tied to the elements. For example, you will see a green tone for the nature element, blue for water, turquoise for ice, purple for dark, red for fire, and yellow for lightning. This new coloring is applied across all the mobs, bosses, spells, element icons, and even the casting VFX.Our biggest hope is that with this change, players can instantly identify what element the enemy has just by a single glance. This way, you can easily prepare and use the most effective spell to fight them without confusing yourself in the middle of the action.
Thank you so much for all the demo feedbacks, and let us know what you think in the comments. ;)
