Each rare kit features its own unique model, presentation, and description.
Exclusive Collector Decorations
The Collector also introduces a new collection of exclusive decorations, bringing its catalog to 36 unique items. These decorations can only be purchased from The Collector and are designed to complement your rare kits and themed display areas.
Collector Display Case
A new placeable Collector Display Case has been added.
Place assembled rare model kits inside the display case.
Remove or replace displayed kits whenever you want.
Information panels around the case show the displayed model's name and description.
New Customer Interactions
Customers can now stop by Collector Display Cases before starting their regular shopping.
Customers may stop to inspect displayed rare kits.
Some customers will take photographs of the models.
New inspection and photography animations have been added.
Multiple customers can gather around a display case.
Display Theme Demand Bonus
Rare kits are more than just decorations. Displaying a rare model kit increases customer demand for other model kits belonging to the same theme.
Different displayed themes can each provide their own demand bonus.
Displaying multiple rare kits from the same theme does not increase the bonus further.
Featured themes receive an even stronger bonus when a matching rare kit is displayed.
Build themed display areas and use your collection to influence what your customers want to buy.
Bug Fixes & Improvements
Fixed an issue causing delayed interactions on the in-game computer screen.
Fixed some product box icons appearing too large.
Various minor fixes and improvements.
Version 1.0 — September 9
We’re also excited to announce that Model Kit Shop Simulator is planned to leave Early Access and launch into Version 1.0 on September 9, 2026! V0.97 is one of our final major updates before the full release. Thank you for all your feedback and support throughout Early Access. We’ll see you in Version 1.0!
