The stats website has been rebuilt from the ground up at https://dystopia-stats.com
The old site served us since 2009. Though, parts of it had died over time. Awards hadn't
updated since 2009, and rank charts stopped this spring. The new site fixes all of
that, keeps every stat we gathered (when the stats website was working) over 17 years of play: 23,000+ players, over a million kills and adds some things the old one never could:
Live Feed: Kills and captures from every server, as they happen: https://dystopia-stats.com/feed
Round pages: Full scoreboard, objective captures, and the who-killed-who matrix for every round
Report tab: See where you rank among all players (top X% and your recent form)
Rivalry map: Find your nemesis, then click through to theirs
Faster everywhere, works on your phone (most of them anyway,) and links unfurl properly in Discord
Dystopia has updates coming over the next few months: we're targeting macOS support, better Linux
and Steam Deck support, and optimizations to the game and engine.
Once those updates start rolling out, your server will need a stats token to keep reporting to dystopia-stats.com. Without one, your server's matches won't be recorded, and players on your server won't see their in-game icons or global rank. Tokens are self-service and take about a minute:
Log in at https://dystopia-stats.com/servers
with your Puny Human forum account
Click Generate token (one per server) and copy the value it's shown once
Add it to your server's config: `dys_stat_token "<your token>"`
Nothing is broken today (I think, hah.) Your server keeps reporting through our old stats system, as-is until the game update arrives. But grab your token now so you're ready. Tokens are revocable from the same page if one ever leaks.
