I have made an update post 2 years ago regarding how I handle bans, which is here: TLDR: I manage bans manually and I check the backend. I don't use AI or any automation, but there is an anticheat mechanism which flags players who cheat and ruin the experience for people who care about getting to the top of the leaderboard legitimately.
I'm not going to mention any names, but apparently, a player has noticed this post and has messaged me for a manual ban.
I asked why they requested it and the reason was to have the most bans on a steam account. Which I thought it was funny, and sure enough, I have given a ban, but with assurance that they can also appeal for an unban later, since they never really cheated. I always check and 100% confirm that it is actually them and not another account that they want me to ban.
However, the next day, a second person appeared, then third and fourth...
I don't really know what's going on and I feel like I'm getting involved into something bad, so I'm making this post to say that I'm no longer banning people on literal request, and I am unbanning the people which I have banned beforehand. I'm sorry if your goal in life is to pursue 500 bans on your account for validation, but it's just extra hassle for me and I see no point.
As for everyone else, I'm looking forward to update the game to 1.4.2! The update will bring relics in Endless Run, which are permanent upgrades with buffs and debuffs, I have created over 100 unique relics so your runs will be interesting. Many bugfixes, better progression and more variety! I know I'm slow but I have too many things going on now!
