First of all, thank you to every player who has purchased my game! I wanted to give everyone an update on what I've been working on recently, so nobody gets the impression that the game has been left unattended after release.
Since the game supports quite a lot of languages, and there really are players from many different regions using them, every Steam announcement has to be organized and translated into many different versions. Because of this, the game itself often gets updated faster than I can publish announcements about those updates.
The main updates I've worked on recently include: adding the ability to demolish facilities, adjusting the AI's alliance and war-declaration systems so that it behaves more normally, completing the first round of AI intelligence improvements, and fixing many bugs—including some serious bugs that I happened to discover, mainly involving the stage mode and player factions. I've also refined and adjusted some of BuLin's text, fixed garbled text in several languages, and corrected translation errors. Overall, after this round of concentrated fixes, most of the currently known issues have now been addressed.
Things that I will definitely continue working on in the near future include: a more convenient troop deployment system, continued improvements to the AI's intelligence and overall performance, improving the role of military expenses, and making appropriate balance adjustments.
In addition, the complete new gameplay mode that I previously promised is also being developed step by step. At the moment, it's still only a half-finished version, so I don't think it's ready to be released yet. You may have to wait a little longer for that one.
The game also has a more streamlined mobile trial version in China. Although it contains considerably less content than the PC demo and the full version, many of the core systems are shared. Several thousand players have already tried the mobile version, so I've received quite a lot of feedback about bugs, balance, and controls from them. Many issues that were difficult to discover were located and fixed thanks to those players' reports. So I'd also like to sincerely thank everyone who participated in the mobile trial and took the time to send me feedback!
So yes, I'm definitely still very motivated to keep updating the game! You don't need to worry about that. I also hope PC players will send me more reports about problems they encounter, or simply share suggestions with me. After all, I can't base every future update entirely on feedback from the mobile trial version. ()
Anyway, that's about it~ This is basically an explanation of why I don't post announcements very often and what I've actually been updating. I'll keep working on the game and updating it to make it better and better! Thank you so much for reading!!!
