Dear Metas,

Since the launch of Once Human, as the Shop item catalog has continued to grow, we have received feedback about the Shop experience.

After carefully reviewing the feedback, we found the following major issues with the current Shop:

1. The Shop inventory has grown large, making it harder to browse and find items. With more items being added over time, the current catalog has become cluttered and less convenient to navigate.

2. The Shop's category structure is overly deep, requiring too many steps to navigate. With multiple levels of categorization currently in place, some items can only be located after several clicks, making browsing and filtering less efficient than ideal.

3. The top bar is overloaded with information, making it less intuitive to view assets. Coupons, wishlists, currency, and other details are all concentrated in the top area. As more features have been added, the overall viewing experience has become less straightforward.

To make the Shop experience clearer and simpler, we will be implementing a comprehensive adjustment to the Shop after the version update on August 24(PT). The core objective of this optimization is to make the Shop cleaner, categories more intuitive, and navigation easier. The details are as follows:

1. Shop Item Reorganization

We will reorganize the items currently displayed in the Shop and remove those that are less frequently viewed or purchased, improving the efficiency of browsing and selecting items.

The items planned to be removed in this update are shown below:

Please note that this removal does not mean these items are permanently gone. They will still be made available again in the future through occasional returns, the Wish Bazaar, and other methods. If any of the items being removed catch your eye, feel free to grab them while you can, and stay tuned for future Shop updates and events.

2. Shop Category Optimization

We will optimize the Shop's category structure by removing the existing three-level category tabs and replacing them with top category filters. After this adjustment, you will be able to locate the target item category more quickly and intuitively, with fewer clicks and less navigation hassle—making browsing and filtering a smoother experience.

3. New Page: Personal Hub

This update also adds a new "Personal Hub" page. After the update, you can click the button on the currency bar in the upper-right corner of the Shop to expand the Personal Hub and view your current currency, coupons, wishlist items, subscribed products, and more in one place. We hope that this adjustment will consolidate the information originally scattered across different entry points, allowing everyone to more clearly keep track of their Shop-related assets and subscription status.

Conclusion

That's all for this Dev Blog. Thank you, Metas, for your continued support and feedback! If you have any suggestions or questions about these adjustments, please feel free to reach out to us via the Feedback Platform (Once Human Feedback Platform) or in-game Customer Service.
